A little over half a century ago, the world-famous accordion maestro, Richard Galliano, left his home in the south of France to make a name for himself in Paris. He soon wrote his first valse musette and became close friends with some of the era’s greatest singers whose poetic and musical vision inspired many of his compositions. “Under Paris Skies”, Galliano and his musicians will perform a concert created especially for the Septembre Musical festival.
