Since 1996, St. Petersburg hosts the annual International Musical Olympus Festival. Every year, it presents highly talented young musicians who have recently won prizes at the major international music competitions. The event's primary goal is to support these young virtuosos, many of which further develop a solid international career. Four former festival participants will gather at the Castle of Chillon for a very promising Sunday concert: mezzo-soprano Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, violinist Marc Bouchkov and pianist Daniel Kharitonov are all recent participants of the Musical Olympus Festival and are now sought-after soloists on major stages. They will share the evening's bill with their elder Alexander Boldachev, a harpist whose outstanding career is also open to composition and a multitude of musical genres.
