Mozart

“Liebster bester Freund”: Mozart loved writing letters to his friends and family. His correspondence amounts to thousands of handwritten pages! Rolando Villazón, artistic director of “Mozart Week”, will read several of them throughout an evening of chamber music which has another surprise in store: the French violinist Hugues Borsarello will play Mozart’s sonatas on an instrument made for the composer in 1764 by an Italian luthier Pietro Antonio Dalla Costa.
