Jane Birkin forced to cancel her concert on May 30th in Montreux
It is with great sadness that the Septembre Musical Montreux Vevey festival and the Fondation de la Saison culturelle de Montreux announce the cancellation of the "Birkin-Gainsbourg, le Symphonique" concert scheduled for May 30th at the Auditorium Stravinski.
Despite a convalescence that is progressing favourably, Jane Birkin is unable to prepare this very special event that she was looking forward to presenting to the Montreux public at the opening of the festival. There is no possibility of postponement.
Refund procedure
The spectators concerned have been reimbursed in the meantime.

77th edition: 31 May to 8 June
Our 77th edition will take place from 31 May to 8 June. The festival will have the honour of welcoming two of the most prestigious symphonic ensembles in France: the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. They will perform emblematic symphonic masterpieces of French musical heritage with the important support of internationally renowned conductors and soloists such as Renaud Capuçon, Tugan Sokhiev, Bertrand Chamayou, Mikko Franck, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Gautier Capuçon or Sol Gabetta.
