\u201cClassical music, a timeless source of inspiration, is in urgent need of innovation. Entrenched in the customs and rituals established in the last century for far too long, it must now offer new musical experiences to a wider audience. This is why Septembre Musical has chosen to reposition itself with the introduction of new concert formats in collaboration with the world\u2019s greatest stars,\u201d states Mischa Damev, Festival Director.<\/p>\n

For the 2024 edition, classical music becomes a multisensorial experience where music blends with the visual arts, and even comedy, for eight innovative concerts performed by outstanding musicians: the Kristjan J\u00e4rvi Ensemble, Louis and Georges Schwizgebel, the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, Gautier Capu\u00e7on and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Ducros, Igudesman and Joo, Kian Soltani, Timothy Chooi and Alexander Malofeev.<\/p>\n

Popularising classical music and making it as accessible as possible are part of the festival\u2019s core mission. The inventive programme features an affordable pricing policy, with concert tickets priced at CHF 10 for young people and from CHF 49 to CHF 59 for adults.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the extensive renovations to the building where the Auditorium Stravinski is housed, making it inaccessible, Septembre Musical Montreux-Vevey has decided to remain firmly rooted in the region where it all began 78 years ago. The festival has taken up residence at seven fantastic venues across the Swiss Riviera, some of which are quite extraordinary. These are all incredible venues to discover or rediscover in this format,\u201d concludes Laurent Maire, President of the Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n

The concert venues are: Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Caux Palace, H\u00f4tel Victoria in Glion, Temple Saint-Martin and H\u00f4tel des Trois Couronnes in Vevey, Salle Omnisports du Pierrier in Clarens and Salle des Remparts in Tour-de-Peilz.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
