The Septembre Musical could not afford to omit one of today\u2019s most brilliant representatives of the Russian piano school! Boris Berezovsky was exposed to this great tradition in the course of his studies at the Moscow Conservatory and made his breakthrough in 1990, when he was unanimously awarded the Gold Medal at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition. The Moscow-born pianist regularly performs with the world\u2019s leading orchestras and is the much-appreciated chamber music partner of numerous famous musicians such as Vadim Repin, Julian Rachlin and Alexander Melnikov. Boris Berezovsky also performs regularly in recital series where he can display his wide expressive range through carefully selected programmes, such the one he will present at the Castle of Chillon. Scriabine\u2019s\u00a0Two Poems<\/em>\u00a0for piano and his Piano\u00a0Sonata N\u00ba 4<\/em>\u00a0will accompany lesser-known works of the Russian repertoire by Mily Balakirev and Anatoly Lyadov. A wonderful opportunity to appreciate the sheer beauty of the Slavic soul!<\/p>\n
