Le phénomène mondial

Peter Bence & orchestre

After his triumph last year, Peter Bence returns to the Stravinski Auditorium, this time accompanied by a symphony orchestra, for a spectacular show. A global phenomenon in new classical music, the world-record-breaking pianist presents a concert in four movements: film music, pop-rock hits, original compositions and virtuoso solos where the piano itself becomes an orchestra. From Pirates of the Caribbean to Queen, from John Williams to Michael Jackson, a cathartic and resolutely contemporary experience for all generations.

Le Sinfonietta de Lausanne

The Sinfonietta de Lausanne stands out for its distinctive artistic and educational vision, its original repertoire, and its relaxed approach to classical performance. From 2026, its musical direction is entrusted to Lucie Leguay.

The orchestra gives around forty performances each season, including a subscription concert series, and collaborates with choirs, festivals and institutions throughout the region, such as HEMU, the Lausanne Opera, EVL and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

The orchestra offers young graduates their first professional position and welcomes HEMU students, supporting them throughout their training. As a highly regarded springboard for young musicians, it enables many of them to build a valuable professional network.

Committed to social inclusion, the Sinfonietta reaches out to people with disabilities and audiences who may otherwise have limited access to cultural events. It also runs educational outreach programmes in schools, reaching nearly 1,300 pupils every year.
