We would like to inform you of a change in the line-up for your concert. Pianist Lukas Sternath, a rising star of the international piano scene, will replace Daniil Trifonov, who regretfully has to cancel his appearance due to an injury. He would like to thank his audience for their understanding and support, and we would also like to express our warmest thanks to him. The concert programme remains unchanged.
Lukas Sternath, an Austrian pianist born in Vienna in 2001, came to international attention at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2022, where he won First Prize as well as seven special prizes. Since then, he has established himself on major international stages and has been named an ECHO Rising Star 2024/25 and a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist 2025–2027, as well as receiving the Terence Judd-Hallé Award 2026. He studied with, among others, Igor Levit and Paul Lewis and is a former member of the Vienna Boys’ Choir. Lukas Sternath is now a Steinway Artist and lives in Vienna. His debut album, devoted to Liszt and Schubert, will be released in autumn 2026.

As the concert will take place as scheduled with the Orchestre National de France conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, with Lukas Sternath replacing Daniil Trifonov, all tickets remain valid and are therefore non-refundable.
